Let’s Review: Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol

Tom Cruise is back, reprising his role as IMF Agent Ethan Hunt for the fourth time. And at 49 years old, he’s still got it, that funny run of his and all.

Simon Pegg adds a comic twist as the team’s communications/computer/technology wizard. Paula Patton plays the sexy femme fatale on the good side, while Léa Seydoux is the French sexy on the villain’s side, as a contract killer who prefers being paid in diamonds. Jeremy Renner is a ex-agent turned analyst with a secret.

This movie is a thrill ride, from start to finish. It’s one big chase scene that will have you gripping the armrests and wincing at their pain. It’s a wonder that more of them did not die before the end. Seriously, they probably should have with all the accidents they endure.

This exciting film pulls you in and has you tense until the end, and you don’t need to be an M:I fan to enjoy it.

Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol is in IMAX and select theatres Dec. 16.

So what do I think?

Go see it. It’s a great action movie!
