Let’s Review: SEEKING JUSTICE

ImageI just can’t take Nicolas Cage seriously. The last movie I saw him in was The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and he was just ridiculous in that. I still have nightmares about his hair.

I can’t imagine him having a real relationship with January Jones. I didn’t really see chemistry between them, but I’ll admit I didn’t really want to, either.

Even if they had Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman instead, this movie was still mediocre. Guy Pearce was pretty good, but that was about it.

The plot reminded me a bit of Contraband: both are set in New Orleans, the main guy gets pulled into illegal activities because of something to do with his wife and everything after that is super predictable and they’re just not very good movies.

But at least Contraband has some funny moments. Seeking Justice had none.

SEEKING JUSTICE is in theatres March 16, 2012.

It’s rated R and is 1 hour and 45 minutes long

So what do I think?

Skip it.
